The Associate Chief of Psychiatry, in concert with the Division Chief, promotes a vision consistent with the mission of CNHS, and a strategic plan to provide access to patients and families who need psychiatric services. Is responsible to develop and implement outcome metrics in concert with the Chief to meet the highest clinical performance. Works with Chief to set standards of excellence for faculty within the division. Develops policy and procedures and collaborates with outside departments in the care and treatment of children in need of psychiatric care. Takes an active role in the clinical schedules to ensure coverage of all sites and locations where psychiatric care is provided. Maintains professional standards of the division and help on-board new faculty. Also represents the Chief and the Division with workgroups and activities when Chief is not able to attend.
