**Position Overview** The Associate Accounting Analyst assists in the accounting, planning, reporting, and analysis of assigned business activity for the company. This role performs GAAP-compliant accounting and controls for assigned areas and provides support to business partners in budget development and management.

+ Prepare required recurring analysis, including explanation of variances, for finance/business partners.
+ Review assigned Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to ensure reasonableness and accuracy. Research abnormal situations and identify variances.
+ Prepare, review and process journal entries as required to accurately reflect financial activities for a given period.
+ Assist the business group in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including gathering and sharing additional data in assigned areas, providing helpful trending (Prior year, actual vs. budget, etc.)
