Position Overview

Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture – Tenure Stream. Intake at the Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University, Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. Successful appointment will commence as early as July 1, 2026, and is supported by the Dalhousie Diversity Faculty Awards (DDFA). The role will involve teaching, research, and service in a multidisciplinary environment that spans food security, sustainable agriculture, applied ecology, agroecology, rural development, and interdisciplinary studies.

Responsibilities

• Teach diploma, undergraduate, and graduate courses, including a semester course in Fujian Province, China every two years.
• Develop and lead an externally funded, internationally recognized research program focused on food security and sustainable agriculture.
