Assistant/Associate Professor, Tenure Track, in art research

The University of Jyväskylä (JYU) is a nationally and internationally significant research university focusing on human and natural sciences. The Department of Music, Art and Culture Studies seeks a fixed‑term Associate Professor in Art Research for a five‑year tenure track starting 2 August 2027 (or as soon as possible thereafter). At the end of the term, an evaluation assesses progress and the potential for promotion to Full Professor.

Responsibilities

• Teaching assignments within the degree programme in Art History and Art Education.
