Assistant Purchasing Manager for one of our awesome partners. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager in managing and coordinating the purchasing activities of the plant.
Shift: 1st Shift
Job duties consist of but are not limited to the following:
Must have experience in food industry Raw materials inventory control (Estimating / Calculating usage over 500 different types of raw materials for future’s and ordering to suppliers, and checking if inventory is covered with our production demand)Negotiating with vendors/supplier to secure the best princes and terms (Price, Lead time, Quality Issues)Train and supervise purchasing personnel to ensure efficient operationsDevelop and implement strategies for cost reduction and inventory controlNew business development for local or foreign suppliers
