Position Description

The Texas State University seeks to hire two full-time Faculty of Instruction beginning Fall Semester , with potential for continuing appointment based on mutual satisfaction. The primary duties of the position, along with applicant qualifications, are detailed below.


Our department offers baccalaureate and master’s degrees, with faculty doing research in the physics of materials, astrophysics, and physics education. Texas State is a comprehensive PhysTEC site with a thriving Learning Assistant program operating in multiple introductory courses.
