Overview


The New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) within Touro University is looking to hire an Assistant Professor for History. The assistant professor is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Teach at least four undergraduate courses each semester

+ Assist in student advisement within the History Department, including course selection and career planning. This may include orientation and during other times when classes are not in session.

+ Respond to needs and concerns of departmental faculty, administrative staff and students in a respectful and professional manner.
