We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Hardware Store Manager to support the daily operations of our store and assist in driving sales, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct regular floor walks with management and identify daily priorities.
2. Communicate key focus areas to staff and ensure effective follow-up.
3. Analyse sales performance, margins, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Monitor waste, markdowns, shrinkage, and stock losses.
5. Review ranking reports daily and address problem areas.
6. Manage store expenses and control operational costs.
7. Ensure the highest quality products and service standards are maintained.
8. Identify out-of-stock items and ensure timely ordering.
