Job Summary

/Basic Function: The Assistant Director of Athletics Communication and New Media is an entry-level professional role designed to enhance the Wheaton Athletics brand through modern digital storytelling and responsive media strategies. Reporting to the Director of Athletics Communication, this individual will lead the department’s efforts in live-streaming production, video content creation, and social media engagement. As part of the NCAA Pathway to Excellence program, this role offers a comprehensive introduction to athletic administration, including budget management, staff oversight, and compliance, while serving as a subject-matter expert on digital trends for the Wheaton community.

This is a two year, grant funded position with a full-time, 11 month annual work schedule (August – June) with on campus housing provided.
