Role Overview

The role leads the end-to-end management of the reinsurance claims function from notification through settlement, recovery and filing while owning service quality turnaround standards and data integrity across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

Claims Lifecycle Management and Oversight

• Lead the end-to-end management of reinsurance claims - notification, acknowledgement, loss advice, finalisation, settlement, recovery and filing ensuring accuracy, compliance and agreed turnaround standards across the portfolio.
• Oversee review of preliminary loss notifications from brokers and cedants, confirm whether accounts are bound and ensure prompt acknowledgement.
• Ensure loss details are complete and accurate, cross‑checked against the computation sheet and raise any clarifications with cedants the same day or by the next business day.
