Responsibilities
Assist the Category Manager in executing category plans that are better for customers, simpler for stores and deliver against financial and non‑financial targets. The primary role of an ACM is to run an effective promotional program that delivers against sales, profit and market share targets.
- Optimising the promotional program through the frequency, depth, funding and phasing of promotions whilst ensuring we are providing market‑leading value for our customers.
- Utilising data and insights to ensure our promotional offers are customer‑led and deliver an ROI.
- Leveraging sales‑driving tactics for key customer offers (brochure, sales planning, event space, etc.).
- Negotiating with suppliers on promotional investment and executions (aligning to KPIs).
