Overview

Minimal SPM/O-Levels or other equivalent qualifications. Competent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Competence in other vernacular languages would be an added advantage. Experience in zoo field, nature-related exhibitions, animal husbandry and exhibit design will be an added advantage. Able to work on weekends and public holidays. Able to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g., required to lift 20 kg loads). Confident, outgoing personality and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily oversight of animal care operations within specific assigned zoo areas, including the care and management of different species of birds, mammals and reptiles.
• Promote the Zoo with above-expectation level of service and visitor satisfaction.
