Role: Area Manager - Last Mile, SPX Express (Miri, Sarawak)

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and ensure the hub meets the operations KPI as per directive from Management
• Supervising and providing guidance for Hub Managers and Fleet Supervisors to monitor day-to-day productivity levels of each hub
• Allocate resources to ensure all hubs are effectively operating
• Act as the focal point to coordinate with upstream operations (Linehaul, Sorting Centres and First Mile)
• Report and forecast/plan hub operation outputs
• Fully accountable for cost and synergy with initiatives from HQ that drive operation excellence
• Manage and hire Fleet Supervisors and Hub Managers in designated regions across Malaysia
• Ensure hub meets 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) standards
