Description of Key Responsibility:
1. Create an inclusive environment in your area of responsibility and at the College that fosters academic success, respect for individuals and cultures, and positive human interaction. Engage in educational opportunities to increase your awareness and understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
2. To ensure student success and persistence, assist students who are experiencing personal difficulties through consultation and/or referral to other resources. Follow-up and manage cases based on referrals from the Behavioral Intervention Team through the early alert system. Proactively create relationships with residents to aid in intervention.
3. Supervise resident assistants. Participate in their selection, provide appropriate training, schedule and assign their work, monitor and evaluate their performance, and make corrective and/or disciplinary interventions as necessary....
