Apprenticeship Trainer – Electrical
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment for the Installation and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship standard, ensuring all sessions meet college standards and awarding body requirements.
- Deliver training using a range of engaging and effective methods, adapting approaches to meet the individual needs, prior learning and experience of each apprentice.
- Use progress reviews to monitor and evidence each apprentice's development against the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) of their standard, identifying any gaps and agreeing actions to address them.
- Ensure apprentices make strong, timely progress by completing regular progress reviews with apprentices and their employers and monitoring Off‑The‑Job (OTJ) training hours to maintain full compliance with apprenticeship funding rules.
