Scope

Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.


Qualifications

+ Required associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related field

+ Preferred bachelor’s degree

+ 5 years of relevant experience Less than 5 years rad tech or similar Required

+ CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT
