SUMMARY
The Applications Engineer is responsible for completion of the Applications portion of the CNC turnkey by developing processes to manufacture customer parts to the quoted cycle time and quality requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the execution of the turnkey, ensuring that it meets customer requirements, is on time and within budget.
Sets tooling and creates machine programs to accurately manufacture the part.
Proves quality and cycle time by performing a SPC run off of the process.
Troubleshoot turnkey related problems and provide machining solutions.
Application of gauging techniques (including CMM, hand gauges, etc.) to verify turnkey process certification.
