Job Description:

Language tutors will work one-on-one or in small groups with undergraduate students. The primary function of the tutor is to mentor and assist students in language learning, conversational skills, and language mastery.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of student-centered tutoring strategies.

Must be knowledgeable in the tutoring discipline. Experience tutoring and/or teaching at the college level is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and computer skills are necessary.

Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, and work independently. Be able to analyze student’s needs and explain materials in a variety of ways to build confidence and comprehension.

Essential Functions:
