500 UPS The Legal Manager will be based in Singapore and responsible for providing legal support for a variety of issues in customer contract negotiations, researching and enabling the launch of new products and services as well as regulatory and trade compliance support. The incumbent will be reporting to the Legal Director, Asia Pacific. He/she is expected to take on a broad and interesting range of legal matters and thus, a strong foundation in either a local or international law firm will be looked upon favorably. Roles & Responsibilities Reviewing and providing legal support for customer contracts throughout the Asia Pacific region Resolving disputes arising from customer contracts Advising on international trade and regulatory compliance matters Conducting legal research to enable the launch of new products and services Drafting and review legal commercial contracts and document Supervising outside law firms used by UPS Supervising junior Legal Department staff
