Description of the Position:

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in aquatic guarding and swim instruction at the Anderson School pool and maintain a safe clean environment for pool guests. Duties include but are not limited to: Directly providing lifeguarding services; swim instruction; pool and pool area maintenance; preparing and submitting accident/incident reports; greeting the public and providing general information and assistance regarding pool schedules; participation in in-service training, orientations and other staff meetings; and practicing safe work habits and contributing to the safety of self, co-workers and the general public. The Lifeguard/Swim Instructor position is hard physical work and requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
