POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Venue Set-up Coordinator to join our Events Department!
This role will be a key operational figure in the organisation of meetings, banquets and events within the venue.
Key responsibilities
Read and analyse event orders (BEOs) relating to meetings and banquets, provided by the Convention/Events and Housekeeping departments, in order to understand guests’ requirements Determine the correct layout of spaces (meeting rooms, banquets, coffee breaks, buffets, service stations), the sequence of activities and the specific requirements of the events Set up and prepare the assigned rooms, ensuring tidiness, cleanliness and the correct positioning of equipment Assemble and dismantle event equipment and materials (tables, chairs, buffets, platforms, operational supplies) Transport supplies and materials required for the running of events Restock bars, buffets a...
