What You'll Do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet aircraft in compliance with Transport Canada standards and company procedures.
- Sign off on maintenance releases, taking responsibility for work performed per licence privileges.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems, diagnose complex defects using sound judgement and technical skill.
- Inspect and certify replacement parts before installation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, defect reports, and technical logs.
- Participate in Summit Air's Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Assurance programs.
- Mentor apprentice AMEs and junior technicians where applicable.
