AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dynamic and energetic provider to work in our Level II NICU. The provider in collaboration with the neonatology will cover the 12 bed level 2 NICU at Ocala along with the newborn service.
General Summary:
The APP is responsible for providing care for NICU and Newborn patients within the scope of licensure and within the supervising physician's scope of practiceEvaluate patients, perform procedures, develop treatment plans, order and interpret labs, x-rays and other diagnostic studies per specialty guidelines and under the guidance of the NeonatologistCommunicate with parents, other specialists and among NICU teamMonitoring specialized equipment, including incubators and ventilatorsProviding education and support to patients’ families regarding neonatal, intensive and, postpartum careDispensing medications under collaborative agreement with a physician<...
