Summary This position will serve as an Agriculturist (Containment Scientist) or Agriculturist (Senior Regulatory Policy Specialist) who will lead implementation and adhere to Plant Protection and Quarantine policies for permitting and evaluating containment of regulated pests and organisms, provider of policy and program support to plant health programs. Responsibilities The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Reviews draft permits and associated documents to ensure that permit conditions are appropriate and sufficient to prevent the escape of regulated articles. Reviews and evaluates scientific documents, construction proposals, standard operating procedures and inspection reports.
