Position Summary This position reports directly to the Swine Farm Manager in the Animal and Dairy Science Department and ultimately to the Head of ADS. The principal duties include providing day‐to‐day operational support, feed preparation, facility maintenance and repairs, equipment operation, maintenance, and repair, and working with faculty and farm staff to ensure the research, teaching and extension missions are accomplished. Key Responsibilities Perform assigned duties under the direction of the Swine Farm Manager. Ensure farm operations and facilities are maintained to ensure the health and safety of animals. Feed, maintain feeding systems and waterers. Safely operate various machinery including tractor, skid steer, backhoe, dump truck, and possibly tillage and planting equipment.
