The Advanced Practice Provider, Oncology (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) is an integral member of the oncology care team, responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
The APP performs assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with cancer and related conditions, in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
This position involves coordination of care across the continuum, including outpatient and inpatient and emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and quality improvement.
Conducts comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, history taking, and diagnostic evaluations.
Formulates and implements treatment plans for oncology patients in collaboration with collaborating physicians and the care team.
