Summary This position is located in the Pre-service Unit within the Medical Clearance Division under the Office of Volunteer Health, Peace Corps' Headquarters, Washington DC. The incumbent will conduct comprehensive medical reviews of applicants with medical conditions requiring medical care and accommodation in the country of service. The incumbent oversee the medical clearance screening guidelines and revise on an ongoing basis based as the medical science and country health resources change. Responsibilities The Advanced Practice Nurse performs the following major duties: Independently performs certified nurse practitioner functions by reviewing and clearing Invitee medical cases in systems such as MAXx and providing medical guidance to support timely processing of the medical advisor queue.
