Administrative Manager

Acts as administrative and clinical resource person for problems that arise throughout the hospital. Manages daily staffing, needs during off shift, able to assess staffing, meet staffing patterns. Manages emergency through put, surge, and bed management.

Principal Accountabilities:

+ Staffing analyses and assuring staffing, meets staffing pattern needs per unit

+ advocates for patient safety

+ active role in emergency management

+ Performs unit and department rounds

+ Receives report and collaborates with organizational huddle and staffing huddle

+ Collaborates with bed management and needs

+ Book off shift and OR cases - activates call team on call

+ Report significant problems to administrator on call

+ Attend every other month team meetings

+ Supervision of CMC Float Pool staff; RNs, PCTs, UA - Care view
