Specific Responsibilities

  • Compiling and monitoring payroll - ADP time and attendance system
  • Coordinate and facilitate Warehouse recruitment, orientation and onboarding for new employees
  • Schedule and attendance management for Warehouse Employees
  • Processing and monitoring workplace injuries, disability or alternate claims for leave of absence
  • Managing and tracking the vacation and time off request process for all DC employees (union and non-union)
  • Interpretation and execution of all components of the Collective Bargaining agreement
  • Relationship management and correspondence with local Union Representatives
  • Health and Safety oversight (H&S committee, Corporate Wellness programs; liase with provincial Occupational Health and Safety representatives)
  • Coordinate and support corporate and local Employee engagement and Community initiatives
