Role Overview
This is a part‑time vacancy of 21 hours per week as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One. Kindness will be at the core of everything you do, ensuring residents feel supported and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a variety of activities that delight residents.
- Organise essential fundraising events in collaboration with the Home Manager.
- Encourage residents to socialize, develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies, and involve the care‑home team.
- Maintain a consistent sense of kindness in all interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Background working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with experience developing activity programmes.
- Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills; ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a considerate, kind approach when interacting with residents and co‑workers.
