Description We are looking for an Accountant to support core financial operations for a Contract position based in San Luis Obispo, California. This role will handle day-to-day accounting activities across payables, receivables, and general ledger functions while helping maintain accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate brings strong working knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll-related processes, along with experience using modern accounting systems such as Sage Intacct and Paylocity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor account follow-up to keep accounts payable activity accurate and current.
• Oversee billing support, cash application, and customer account tracking to maintain organized accounts receivable records.
