An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced
Accountant: Independent Reviews & Compilations
to join its Assurance team. Reporting to the relevant Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality independent review and compilation engagements, preparing financial statements, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with Independent Review engagements from planning through to finalisation.
Prepare high-quality Annual Financial Statements in accordance with
IFRS
and
IFRS for SMEs , including full working paper files.
Liaise directly with clients and attend engagement-related meetings.
Monitor engagement budgets, time spent, and ensure deadlines are met.
Assist in mentoring and training junior team members.
Ensure compliance with firm quality, independence, and professional standards.
