Key Responsibilities
Billing & Invoicing
- Generate accurate and timely customer invoices based on sales contracts or orders.
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements (e.g., SST, VAT) and internal policies.
Cash Application & Allocation
- Process incoming payments (cheques, bank transfers, electronic payments).
- Apply payments to customer accounts correctly and resolve misapplied or unidentified receipts.
Collections & Customer Management
- Proactively follow up on overdue accounts to reduce aged debt.
