Responsibilities
Ensure all orders received into the Customer Service Department are dealt with promptly in line with agreed department targets and timescales.
Work to tight deadlines with excellent communication skills.
Take ownership of own daily tasks, making sure all orders and queries are cleared and resolved wherever possible at the end of each day.
Build effective relationships with customers to enhance service and exceed customer expectations.
Identify potential service issues, proactively contacting the customer to clarify and resolve the problem, offering alternative products or service levels when appropriate.
Book in deliveries and provide both written and verbal quotations.
Manage daily reports.
