Long-Term Occasional Assignment – Biology – 1 section

Location: Erin DHS

Rate of Pay: $59,300.82 – $119,670.49 per annum (salary grid rate based on QECO rating and teaching experience; prorated based on FTE; effective September 1, 2025)

Effective Period: September 2, 2026 – February 2, 2027

Duration: 4 periods

Reporting to: Principal of the assigned school

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher.
• Support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
• Teach one biology section for the duration of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Senior Biology certification.
• Teaching experience consistent with QECO rating.
