The Department of Computing at the University of Turku is seeking 12 Postdoctoral Researchers or Doctoral Researchers to develop advanced machine learning methods, with a particular focus on generative AI techniques. The successful candidates will analyze, predict, and fuse heterogeneous geospatial and time-series datasets to build digital twins for environmental ecosystems. The fixed term position starts on mutual agreement, but 1.9.2026 at the earliest and ends on 31.8.2028. There is a possibility of extension in the position. The position is full-time, although part-time work is possible on mutual agreement.
