**Territory Manager Rapid Diagnostics (Infection Diseases)**

The role of the Territory Manager within each of these core markets is to ensure Abbott RDx leads in the move towards Point of Care in the Norwegian Healthcare market. This will require managing and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders and pathways. You are a entrepreneur and high caliber self-starter with a proven track record and a consistent high achiever in the Healthcare sales arena. The role will contribute to Abbott Rapid Diagnostics growth and development. This will involve researching, identifying, assimilating and prioritizing key opportunities within a region.

• Infectious Diseases – Full portfolio of Rapid tests and Molecular test instruments.

• Cardiometabolic – Main product portfolio – Afinion Point of Care platform testing CRP, HbA1c, ACR, and Lipid profile

**Major Accountabilities**

+ Development of markets and customers, achieving sales targets, providing general customer service in the various areas of responsibility.

+ Responsibility for the development and execution of the full Abbott RDx product portfolio within the area within Infection Diseases.

+ The Territory Manager is expected to lead and initiate projects or work as part of a project team as required, demonstrate excellent business acumen and strive to meet and exceed agreed financial and strategic objectives.

+ Building up strong relationships with all stakeholders in key accounts.

+ Full overview of the tender market in the country, working with internal and external customers with key stakeholders and generate success in tenders.

+ Participating in all sales and marketing meetings as well as all important congresses.

+ Understanding the sales strategies and transferring the BU’s marketing campaigns to a regional level.

+ Ability to articulate issues and business opportunities with relevant customers to secure long term strategic business opportunities.

**YOUR PREFFERRED BACKGOUND**

+ Preferably a bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology or related field.

+ Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in a similar position or field.

+ Proficiency in dealing with the Norwegian Healthcare market and/ or experience in a Molecular Biology or related field.

+ Fluent in building / constructing compelling business cases.

+ Good knowledge of managing numerous stakeholders in sales cycles that exceeds 9 months.

+ Contracting experience adequate to work with legal counsel in drafting heads of terms and working through contract reviews

+ IT – MS Word, Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint, CRM system(s).

+ Experience with Tender management is required.

+ Fluency in a Nordic language, as well as strong communication skills in English.
