**Supply BPM Junior Manager**



The Supply organization is responsible for distilling, brewing, packaging, sourcing, moving Diageo’s well-known products. The different business units and lower business areas all play a crucial role to ensure that Diageo’s customer can enjoy life every day everywhere by getting the best quality products. The Diageo Supply organization’s ambition is to create the most trusted and respected Supply organization in the world.

The Supply BPM Junior Manager is the financial and strategic business partner for the given Supply area. (S)he leads the creation of a consolidated picture for both financial and operational performance. (S)he helps the Finance team to develop and own the financial aspect of both short and long term plans and performance delivery. (S)he acts as the FP&A lead for all of the business unit related questions with the internal Finance teams

It is key that the person can

+ quickly see through the consolidated information,

+ spot out potential issues, discrepancies in the roll-up,

+ be able to put together the bigger story for the whole business unit from the smaller business areas.

**About the role:**

+ Consolidates and analyzes the different business units’ performance within Supply. (financial performance, operational KPIs)

+ Generate insights for the business unit’s leaders by pointing out inefficiencies and highlighting further efficiency opportunities

+ Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes where actuals reflect appropriate business performance, variance to plan are well understood and explained

+ Decision support for business partners through value-added analysis, thorough understanding of variances to plan/last year with the underlying business reasons

+ Create accurate forecasts based on identified trends in the actuals and information collected from the stakeholders and the finance analysts

+ Able to clearly understand and communicate financial performance for the stakeholders of the given area

+ Ensure to build a smooth Annual Operating Plan process where the budget is well understood, adequate challenge is applied and detailed insights are given to the stakeholders

+ Ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal audit (CARM) processes

+ To exploit SAP to its maximum

+ To contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm, and support to the continuous improvement of the processes.

+ Support with any additional financial analysis which is required for the appropriate run of the business (e.g. deep dives etc.)

+ Able to coach, motivate and develop a high-performing team

+ Able to prioritize the work of a team

**About you:**

+ University / College degree in finance / business

+ At least 5-7 years experience in Finance Controlling or FP&A in a multinational environment, preferably in FMCG sector

+ Fluent English knowledge

+ MS applications

+ Relevant experience with SAP FI /CO modules

+ Strong Excel knowledge

+ Personal drive to take ownership and deliver solutions

+ Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

+ Be able to drive the business performance management process by influencing both peers and superiors to meet deadlines and provide robust submissions

+ Willingness and ability to speak up and challenge assumptions in order to improve accuracy of forecasts and enable better decision making

+ Ability to prioritise effectively and shows focus on actions

+ Brilliant stakeholder management even with remote locations

+ Team player, with the ability to work independently

+ Hard working personality, flexibility

+ Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering alternative solutions for issues

+ People management experience is a plus
