Role Summary:The GE Healthcare, Radiology Information system (RIS-i) DevOps team is looking for a DevOps (Build and Release) Engineer to be part of our exciting journey to develop, build, connect the “Dev & Ops”. You will be part of executing the strategy for deployment, delivery & monitoring capabilities, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for our product that serve our customers.

Essential Responsibilities:• Design and implement DevOps frameworks and automation

• help teams in case of problems with the tools that support Infrastructure, CI, CD and CT

• monitor environments and react quickly and precisely in case of issue

• ensuring documentation and quality for the DevOps area of the Product

• interact with other development teams in a global context

• share knowledge and best practices within team

• document procedures for building and deploying. Able to assess code, build it, and run applications locally on his/her own

Qualifications/Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

• Experience with Windows system & server administration, virtualization, Database (Preferable Oracle) and scripting languages

• Software Engineering experience

• Strong oral and written communication skills (English)

Desired Characteristics:• Strong culture and initial experience in DevOps and Agile Development methodologies

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, toolsets and supporting infrastructure

• Ability to create technical concept and design for Network and Architecture
