Role Summary:Responsible for supporting Sourcing/Procurement processes related to PS Sourcing Operations. This role will execute objectives, and support short-term/long-term business goals. A key element of this position will be to provide functional support to internal customers, ensure business strategies are followed for fulfillment, quality, and cost working closely with their commodity cell to ensure customer orders are delivered on time; are of high quality; and provide cost savings to the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Expedite and prioritize supply chain and logistics to meet standard, emergency, forced outages and short cycle customer demands.

+ Interface and own timely updates to internal customers to expedite and resolve customer issues.

+ Review best cost and fulfillment supply chain options and place purchase order to best source to support on-time delivery of qualified product for short cycled customer demands.

+ Drive acknowledgement of expedited purchase orders.

+ Ability to manage a high volume of purchase orders across multiple supply chains to ensure on time delivery.

+ Work with Order Management Team to improve on time delivery and reduce span on overdue material.

+ Work closely with other sourcing functions to ensure that sourcing goals are met for fulfillment, cost and quality.

+ Mitigate and minimize expediting fees and other expenses with suppliers.

+ Approve purchase orders based on functional approval limits (DOA).

+ Support to negotiate and resolve negative Purchase Price Variance (PPV).

+ Measure and analyze supplier performance and drive resolution on performance issues by understanding supplier capacities & capabilities.

+ Drive Lean process improvements to mitigate and reduce fulfillment risk caused by both internal and external issues.

+ Monitor PO cancellation requests (RTC) on a daily basis. Mitigate and minimize cancellation fees through supplier negotiations.

+ Being responsible for lead times, keeping supplier market shares and using agreed prices.

+ Negotiate vendor price change requests.

+ Work with the Commodity Site Leader and Cost Leader to improve Payment Terms with Suppliers.

+ Resolve Accounts Payable and invoice hold issues.

+ Work with Sourcing Quality Engineer and Design Engineering on timely Supplier Deviation Request (SDR) resolution.

+ Drive key sourcing initiatives through continuous improvement projects.

+ Drive the elimination of supplier defects that are received into our warehouse (NCR).

+ Drive Vendor Cost of Failure recovery process.

+ Manage Customer/Warehouse claims (RMA).

+ Responsible for system testing related to functional responsibilities

+ Mitigate and minimize premium transportation requests.

+ Drive e-tool penetration with suppliers (SourceGate, Ariba, OTM).

+ Further tasks, not included in this Job Description that are assigned by the leader/manager verbally or written.

+ BA, BSc in Business Management, Engineering or Technical Degree and /or equivalent experience.

+ Excellent English communication skills.

+ Self-Starter – able to excel in fast paced business environment.

+ Very strong customer service and results oriented mindset.

+ Demonstrated technical aptitude.

+ Relevant sourcing or equivalent experience.

+ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

+ Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverables.

Desired Characteristics:

+ Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills in Hungarian and English, French is an advantage.

+ Highly motivated and detail oriented.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

+ Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Oracle, SAP).

+ Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specification requirements.

+ Technical (manufacturing/engineering) background is an advantage.

+ Six Sigma GB trained and certified (GE employees only).

+ Relevant Sourcing, Quality or Manufacturing experience.

+ Experience in PS Parts organization
