Role Summary:The Sr End User Support Engineer – Sourcing Support role will be working as the L1 support of supplier’s collaborative applications. Leading a team of 4 contractors, she/he will coordinate them to bring assistance to the users: GE vendors and GE users by organizing training, documentation, granting access, escalating issues to Level 2. In addition to that, she/he will report on the team activities and performance, but will also bring feedbacks and proposals to improve the processes and tools.

Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will:

• Facilitate user business requirement collection

• Support training and supplier onboarding for DT solutions where supplier collaboration is required

• Support Vendors and End Users to solve daily issues related to DT tools acting as a L1 triage component

• Track system issues and facilitate their escalation to the correct support teams

• Work in collaboration with Corporate staff, utilizing a combination of subject matter, technical and functional experts to isolate, identify and troubleshoot issues, collaborate to develop resolutions

• Participate in the tool governance councils for change requirements if required

• Ensure training and process documentation is up to date

• Promote the tools and ensure user adoption and maximum usage.

Qualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or buyer experience

• Minimum of 3 years professional work experience in supporting end-users

Technical Expertise:

• Experience as a user on ERP such as SAP or Oracle, on managing Web applications

• Knowledge in data analytics solutions such as BO, Tableau

Business Acumen:

• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices and procedures

• Knowledge of vendor management system including compliance due diligence

• Knowledge of information technologies utilized to support user functionality (ITIL norm)

Basic Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to different levels of the organization

• Fluent in English, experience in working in an international environment

• Leadership skills, experience in managing a small team

• Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

• Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
