The Operations Specialist Intern will be a member of the Microsoft Incentive Operations (MIO) team within Microsoft Business Operations (MBO). The MIO team supports Microsoft’s strategy of leveraging our partners as an extended sales force to help Microsoft accelerate revenue growth. We are a fast-paced, results oriented group within Microsoft Business Operations that interacts with many groups such as IT and Finance. We enable Microsoft’s strategy by launching, transacting, improving and supporting incentive operations in a compliant, on-time, accurate & cost efficient way. We are an agile, learning, data & process driven organization with clear measures of success.

You love building reports and analytics dashboards to build a picture of our partner experience, and then using this data to drive a better experience. You love working on system design and testing, ensuring that our partners will be happy with the solutions we deliver. You have a passion for excellence and quality. You are detail orientated and hate the idea of delivering a half-baked solution. You are a great communicator and you are not afraid to ask questions.
+ Be an active member of the MIO team and live our values of Growth Mindset, customer/partner obsession, diversity and inclusion. Actively participate in our Organizations Health team which builds a strong collaborative culture within MIO through team events and training activities.
+ Build and deliver reports to management which shine a light on reasons for ‘Process Faults’. Partner with stakeholders to improve processes & ultimately drive down number of faults.
+ Manage monthly Bank Transfer Payment process and ensure payments are issued compliantly, accurately and on time.
+ Own the review process for all requests for ‘Out of Cycle’ Payments. Work with submitters to gather required documentation and ensure that other reviewers are making decision on whether to approve or reject in a timely manner.
+ Reduce tickets to our support team by build PowerBI based reports to help our stakeholders self-serve on payment information.
+ Document current state processes and work with transformation teams as we migrate our legacy platforms to our new modern platform.
+ Penultimate year of University doing a Bachelors or Masters subject
+ First practical experiences, e.g. in selling or implementing IT solutions
+ Well developed communication, presentation as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
+ Passion for working for Microsoft
+ **Fluency in English and local language is required**
