INGLuxembourg is looking for a full-time Integrated Compliance officer to supportthe current team.

 

 

Job description

 

The Integrated Compliance (IC) team is a new team within Complianceand it is responsible to perform several activities that support the otherCompliance units (i.e., Financial Crime Compliance, Organisational & ConductCompliance, Compliance Quality Assurance).

 

Your team shares a collective responsibility for performing several processes : Compliance Risk Assessment,Scenarios, Training, MIS and Data analytics, Whistleblowing, Human Capital,Planning & Budgeting and Business management activities.

 

Aspart of the Integrated Compliance team, your purpose is to launch, steerand coordinate programmes across Compliance as well as execution of changeprojects that cannot find their way within the Business as usual in order and tosupport the other Compliance units in managing the full set of Compliancerisks.

 

TheIntegrated Compliance Team proactively interacts with other Compliance units inrequesting information and providing support for a set of activities aimed atkeeping the Compliance department functioning at its best.

 

The IC team will consist of 2 team members as partof the Compliance Department.

 

You will hierarchically report to the local Lead of Integrated Complianceteam.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

As IC Officer

 

  • You create data-driven insight on compliance risks;

  • You demonstrate to support the OneCompliance function through reportingthat is consistent with group-wide requirements;

  • You manage data analytics in our risk identification and reportingprocesses;

  • Youplay an important role in allowing for functional steering (whereapplicable);

  • You aresupporting the proper description and implementation of global processes atlocal level;

  • Youensure adequate and dynamic insight in the planning and steering of the localfunction;

  • Yousupport, steer, strategize and develop the functional processes team includingall related activities (e.g., HR related activities, performance management,whistleblowing);

  • You acton all regulatory/audit findings with regards to reporting and managementinformation;

  • Youtake care of proper programme management, including providing timely updates onthe relevant programs;

  • You coordinate effective implementation of the newgovernance, including new processes and activities;

  • You perform Key Control Testing on non-riskspecific/ functional areas (e.g., hospitality register);

  • You conduct the Planning & Budgeting activitiesin the local Compliance office and liaise with the Business Line Compliance asappropriate;

  • You contribute to identify local IT / innovationneeds and monitor their implementation, working alongside SME topics leaders.

    How to succeed

     

  • You have 3-5+years’ experience in  risk managementactivities,  possibly with a combinationof front office experience ;

  • You havevery strong analytical results in order to translate qualitative subjectiverisks into quantitative forward-looking objective metrics able to distil keyinformation out of overflow ;

  • You areable to make judgement calls ;

  • Youprioritise supported by extensive risk management experience allowing to makeassessments without having sufficient background on particular risk areas ;

  • You have anadequate understanding of the use of data within ING ;

  • You have astrong understanding how to mobilize different internal and externalstakeholders in coming to functional steering (where applicable) ;

  • Youchallenge subject matter experts on their prioritisation and quantification ofrisks ;

  • You areable to speak up to senior risk managers and defend consistency in the approach;

  • You have auniversity degree or equivalent;

  • You have an excellent level ofEnglish (verbal/written)
