AMI Expeditionary Healthcare is a novel healthcare support organization. Since our inception, we have delivered over 5,000 medical personnel and countless healthcare solutions to over 70 clinical and hospital settings on four continents. AMI is fast-growing providing COVID response to domestic and remote areas. We are seeking dedicated health care professionals as independent contractors to support our commitment to saving lives.
+ Deliver professional health services including provision of critical care and emergency services
+ Take a comprehensive approach to caring for critical care and emergency patients
+ Handle technological procedures and devices used in critical care and emergency setting
+ Other duties as assigned
+ University degree in Medicine and a certificate, diploma or residency in Emergency Medicine
+ Postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
+ A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in Emergency Medicine
+ Current registration and license in a Professional Order of Physicians
+ Current certificates in ATLS, ACLS or equivalent
+ Fluency in English
+ Detailed and most updated resume/CV
+ Valid and active passport
+ Must be committed for the whole duration of employment due to difficulty in securing a visa
+ PALS certificate
+ Experience in hostile and critical risk environments
+ Tactical Combat Casualty Care (T3C) or Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) or equivalent
+ Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) or equivalent
+ Start date: Mid-November
+ Rotations: 1-year contract, 2-3 months on, 1 month off
+ Travel: Flights and visa costs covered by AMI
+ Accommodation: 5-star accommodation with nice restaurant, gym, pool, football and free food
+ 8-hour day shifts, Sunday to Thursday
+ Clinic closed on a Friday (on call)
+ Saturday half day ? 4-hour shift
+ On-call 24/7 for emergency cases
+ COVID-19 testing
+ Chronic conditions
+ Small caseload, so not over worked
The job duties are flexible and subject to change dependent upon operational needs.
