Their mission is to improve the quality of life through the design, development, and manufacture of high quality, affordable medical products, for the benefit of patients and health professionals and with respect to their employees.Role summaryThe role involves all aspects across the company’s activities and development such as managing resource utilization, managing manufacturing engineering personnel, participating in and contributing to the strategic and operating plan processes and working closely with the Headquarter in Hong Kong.Responsibilities * Drives engagement in safety vision, Journey to Zero, to prevent incidents through a focus on unsafe behaviors and conditions. * Manages resource utilization to assure timely production and quality standards are achieved daily. Coordinates the creation and maintenance of appropriate levels of manufacturing capacity while controlling laboring overhead costs. Executes a sales forecast managing the priorities of the production areas to optimize daily output. * Lead the planning and implementation of NPI, ERP, and CRM system with R&D, QA, and Marketing department. * Ensures facility operates within and maintains compliance with, applicable regulatory requirements such as the FDA regulated Quality System, ISO, etc. * Manages manufacturing engineering personnel in developing and implementing process improvements, production safety features, and cost reduction concepts, while simultaneously providing production and R&D support, manager facilities the team in the preventative maintenance & repair of building site and production equipment. * Participates in the review of product designs, and contributes to the strategic and operating plan processes; active leader contributing to the overall running of the business. * Partners with the Finance team and adheres to yearly departmental and capital budgets. * Work closely with the headquarters in Hong Kong in product transfer, ISO13485 transfer.RequirementsEducation and experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, Business or related field is required * Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or operations leadership role is required * Experiencing utilizing an ERP system in an Operations setting is required * Proven experience in leading and implementing lean methodologies, creating flow & establishing pull for high volume products, and experience with operating in an FDA/ISO regulated environment, injection molding/ manufacturing or medical device assembling is preferredAttractive remuneration will be offered in line with experience and would be firmed up during the interview process.
