Role Summary:In this role you will be responsible for supporting Sourcing/Procurement processes. A key element of this position will be to provide functional support to internal customers, ensure business strategies are followed for fulfillment, quality, and cost working closely with their commodity cell to ensure customer orders are delivered on time; are of high quality; and provide cost savings to the business.

+ Expedite and prioritize supply chain and logistics to meet standard, emergency, forced outages and short cycle customer demands.

+ Interface and own timely updates to internal customers to expedite and resolve customer issues.

+ Review best cost and fulfillment supply chain options and place purchase order to best source to support on-time delivery of qualified product for short cycled customer demands.

+ Mitigate and minimize expediting fees and other expenses with suppliers.

+ Approve purchase orders based on functional approval limits (DOA).

+ Support to negotiate and resolve negative Purchase Price Variance (PPV).

+ Measure and analyze supplier performance and drive resolution on performance issues.

+ Drive Lean process improvements to mitigate and reduce fulfillment risk.

+ Monitor PO cancellation requests (RTC) on a daily basis. Mitigate and minimize cancellation fees through supplier negotiations.

+ Being responsible for lead times, keeping supplier market shares and using agreed prices.

+ Negotiate vendor price change requests.

+ Work with the Commodity Site Leader and Cost Leader to improve Payment Terms with Suppliers.

+ Resolve Accounts Payable and invoice hold issues.

+ Drive key sourcing initiatives through continuous improvement projects.

+ Drive the elimination of supplier defects that are received into our warehouse (NCR).

+ Drive Vendor Cost of Failure recovery process.

+ Manage Customer/Warehouse claims (RMA).

+ Responsible for system testing, drive e-tool penetration with suppliers (SourceGate, Ariba, OTM).

+ Mitigate and minimize premium transportation requests.

+ Work with Order Management Team, Sourcing Quality Engineer, Design Engineering and other sourcing functions to improve on time delivery and reduce span on overdue material.


+ BA, BSc degree in Business Management, Engineering or Technical Degree and /or equivalent experience.

+ Excellent Hungarian and English communication skills.

+ Self-Starter – able to excel in fast paced business environment.

+ Very strong customer service and results oriented mindset.

+ Demonstrated technical aptitude.

+ Relevant sourcing or equivalent experience.

+ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

+ Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverables.

Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.

Desired Characteristics:

+ French language knowledge is an advantage.

+ Technical (manufacturing/engineering) background is an advantage.

+ Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specification requirements.

+ Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Oracle, SAP).

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

+ Highly motivated and detail oriented.
