The SEUK AC Business is part of a new dedicated European AC business called Climate Solutions. The UK and Ireland is one of the biggest markets in Europe and there has been significant investment in personnel and products to prepare the business for substantial growth. Combined with the release of a number of unique and exciting products into the market the UK AC business is in a great position to capitalise on the opportunities the UK & Ireland market offers.

**Role and Responsibilities**

**What will this role achieve?**

+ Develop sales to grow the Samsung brand in the Irish market

+ Increase Samsung awareness across all industry segments/verticals in the Irish market

+ Promote solution based business development

+ Grow Consultant knowledge and awareness of Samsung AC & Heating product USP’s

+ Support growth of our Key AC & Heating partners in Ireland

+ Develop End User relationships/specifications for Samsung Heating, Cooling, Ventilations and controls solutions

+ Support development of distribution channel opportunities & leads

+ Proactively network across all channels

**What will be your key deliverables?**

**Key Objectives**

+ Sales growth for Samsung Air conditioning/Heating products within Ireland

+ Increase Market Share for AC/Heating products for Samsung and its Irish partners

+ Development of an active Consultant client base generating Samsung specifications for Samsung solutions/products in Ireland

+ Actively support Key AC Partner and their client base in promoting, purchasing and installing Samsung products in Ireland

+ Identifying & Growing End User business opportunities in Ireland

+ Support the Identification, management and growth of business opportunities with/for Distribution partners and End Users

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Support delivery of SEUK expectations & Targets

+ Increase market product awareness through active engagement with M&E Consultants to generate specifications for tender in the market

+ Support Key Partner engagement with Contractors to generate additional sales to support business growth and support specification wins

+ Sales Training / CPD Presentations to Consultants/Contractors/End users & Channel partners as appropriate

+ Customer Relationship Building and proactively planned networking activities to boost Consultant, Contractor, End User and Distributor relationships and business opportunities

+ Identification and development of business opportunities for/from Consultants/Contractors/End Users and Channel partners and map or network to the appropriate partner to maximise Samsung sales and business development outcomes

+ Maintain accurate project information within ‘Sales Force’ project registration system to support pricing, tracking and communication of project information to the business in a timely manner

+ Provide monthly reports and weekly Call Logs/Plans to management

+ Set up, prepare and attend monthly 121’s with line manager to support progress and performance review and personal development

**What do we need for this role?**

Essential Skills

+ Experience working within the Air Con Industry (Irish market) in a senior sales capacity

+ Knowledge of DX air conditioning systems

+ Target driven with track record of achievement

+ Excellent IT skills

+ Ability to identify and develop opportunities within the market place

+ Ability to increase sales revenue & control margin

+ Experience of working with M&E Consultants

+ Experience of working with Contractors/Installers

+ Ability to work with Distributor Partners and/or End Users

+ Ability to pro-actively support the sales function with full design and product knowledge

+ Strong communication and organisational skills and business acumen

+ Good presentation skills

+ Professional manner and attitude

+ Strong relationship building skills

+ Pro-active networker

Desirable Skills

+ UK operational experience in AC industry

+ Good relationship with influencers at all tiers within the HVAC industry

+ Educated in mechanical engineering (prefer degree level)

+ Experience in major HVAC company especially for VRF products

+ Major HVAC company such as Daikin, MELCO, LG, MHI, Toshiba, Panasonic

+ Experience of working with different cultures

+ Enthusiastic attitude

+ A passion for achieving or exceeding targets

+ Ability to set progressive goals and plan for success

**To be successful in this role you ideally have:**

+ A strong desire to succeed

+ A complimentary blend of sales methodology and product/technical experience

+ A significant existing network of contacts within the M&E/HVAC/Air Conditioning industry in Ireland

+ Ability to work and deliver results either working through/with the Samsung Team or individually
