As a Payment Associate, you propose and execute regular payment runs, monthly payments and ad hoc urgent requests based on the needs at that moment.
**Responsibilities & Requirements:**
You’ll be involved in the following tasks
+ Work on (various) ERP’s to check invoices, obtain approvals and start transfers in multiple banking platforms;
+ Assure approvals per our Flowserve Delegation of Authority and segregation of duties policies are followed before payment;
+ Resolve payment discrepancies and basic issues;
+ Assist with month end closing;
+ Ensure data accuracy, first of all in executing your job, but also by reviewing payment runs;
+ Handle basic queries through e-mail or on the phone, with both internal as well as external customers;
+ Perform other ad-hoc tasks defined by your supervisor or manager.
What do you need for this job
+ Have around one-year or more of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome to join the team.
+ Have completed (or will soon) an Economics/Finance related Secondary Studies or bachelor’s degree;
+ Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English . Any additional languages would be a plus but not essential.
+ Comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
+ Working knowledge of ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP): would be an advantage, but training is offered to everyone.

+ You are a natural at building positive relationships;
+ You have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills;
+ You have keen attention to detail;
+ You are flexible and able to cope with process changes.
