As an R&D Project engineer, member of the Active Safety Team of the Applus IDIADA Group, your mission will be to work on Research and Development projects in the field of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). You will have a great opportunity to participate in cutting edge automotive technologies such as advanced features in connected and autonomous cars, vehicle safety and comfort, human factors and acceptance; and to contribute to validation procedures and testing requirements. These projects will be in cooperation with large industry, SMEs, research and university partners across Europe.
Management activities of R&D projects:
-To identify resources required for the project planning.
-To follow on the execution of technical activities and monitor the production of the required deliverables.
-To prepare follow-up activities and action points.
-To publicize the results and be responsible for ensuring that the project results receive recognition within the industry and research community.
-Writing technical/scientific documentation as part of new R&D proposals and for project reporting.
-Organization and participation in project meetings.
-Participate in the communication and dissemination activities of national and international R&D projects.
-Research and development of new technologies in coordination with other technical departments.
-Participation in elaboration of new R&D project proposals.
-Coordination of the efforts across the project team.
-Presentation of progress and results to the European Commission, national bodies and at conferences to other stakeholders.
-University degree: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering specialized in Mechanics, Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering or similar.
-Other Languages will be an asset.
-Knowledge of R&D and public funding will be an asset.
-Good presentation and communication skills and the ability to produce well written reports.
-Open to work in a very international company with a multicultural team.
-Knowledge of the automotive sector will be an asset.
-An interest in new transport technologies.
-Strong skills in office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
-Availability to travel.
