*** Position is contingent upon contract award.*** Job Title: Tier I System Administrator MID* Job Location: Stuttgart, Germany Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued TS/SCI clearance Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.Provide Support Center (MSC) support for Joint Expeditionary command and Control (JEXC2) family of systems by providing help desk troubleshooting and support via telephone or remote administration to technicians in the field, Entering tickets and maintaining the MSC Trouble Ticket database, Resolving user issues, tracking trouble tickets and actions to closure with minimal escalation, and supporting installations, patches, and software upgrades in the field. Must be self-motivated to learn new technologies, collaborate with other technical services, and maintain an attitude of ”always learning.” Applies familiarity with the OSI Model and translates knowledge into troubleshooting concepts. Works with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve layered issues. Daily tasks include installation of new hardware or software, creating and managing user accounts, maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases, and planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems. Other responsibilities may include light programing or scripting to make the system workflows easier as well as training computer users and assistants.More than 3 years” experience in system administration, setup and sustainment support of deployable C2 programs such as DJC2 or other deployable programs of a similar level of scope.Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.
